Yale Facilities is transforming its business operations by adopting Trimble Unity Construct (Unity), a modern and integrated enterprise platform designed to streamline project administration and financial management within a single unified solution. This initiative will replace the existing Project Control System (PCS) and support a more efficient, standardized, and data-driven approach to facilities management operations.

The transition will impact a broad range of Facilities stakeholders, including the Capital Project Management Group, Business Operations, Finance and Administration, Procurement, and external industry partners and vendors, fostering greater collaboration, operational transparency, and organizational alignment across project lifecycles.

BENEFITS

One centralized system for project information: Schedules, documents, updates, and deliverables live in a single platform rather than across inboxes, shared drives, and spreadsheets.

Reduced coordination emails: Teams and partners work from a shared source of truth, minimizing version confusion and back-and-forth communication.

Integrated scheduling: Project schedules live in Unity, making them easier to review, update, and share without separate file exchanges.

Stronger collaboration: Facilities, vendors, and Yale operations units can access the same information in real time.

Full lifecycle support: While PCS primarily supported financial tracking, Unity supports the entire project lifecycle—from planning through closeout and transition to operations
